Ocean Giants Programme for Conservationist Development

The Ocean Giants Programme for Conservationist Development is preparing the next generation of marine researchers and ocean guardians for the challenges ahead, whilst supporting NGOs working to protect threatened marine megafauna.

This initiative is coordinated by the Manta Trust in collaboration with Plymouth School of Biological and Marine Sciences, providing participating students (Apprentices) with training and work experience in aspects of the real operations of a marine conservation charity.

Through Apprentice fundraising efforts, and with the help and support of the University of Plymouth faculty and facilities, the Ocean Giants Programme is building local capability in our partner NGOs.

Your donation will help to support the Ocean Giants Programme, and to support our partner NGOs and their work to protect threatened marine life. Donations are made through the Manta Trust and will be ringfenced for OGP activities.
